Cocobolo Wood - Cocobolo Wood Pen Images
Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa) is a tropical, hard, heavy wood found in Mexico and Central America. It ranges in color from an orange or reddish-brown to deep reds and purples. It sometimes has a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. Cocobolo is a true rosewood species. The tree can grow to 60 feet tall.
